Crepes GoYaYa’s

Cajun French: les légumes (lā lā-gūm) – vegetables

Baton Rouge, LA. – What happens when a food truck finds a home?  The “streets” loose.  Yet the door is opened to a new customer base enjoying climate controlled seating.  Such is the case with GoYaYa’s, the latest food truck to settle down.  GoYaYa’s found a home at the Main Street Market in downtown Baton Rouge, La.

Mais C’est Bon!

Enjoy!!

After shopping the Red Stick Farmers Market, we decided to eat breakfast at GoYaYa’s. Crepes at GoYaYa’s are prepared for any meal and any taste.  The crepes are made on a flat steel plate using a wooden râteau (spreader) and are thin, tender and full of flavor.  We each had the Eggs Florentine Crepe except Laurie asked to have no cheese and vegetables instead.  Laurie’s crepe was stuffed with egg, spinach, tomato and roasted vegetables.  The vegetables had a great smoky grilled taste and gave the crepe the flavor being grilled.  John had the traditional Egg Florentine Crepe with the rich taste of mozzarella.  Kevin Black, owner/chef, was very accommodating in preparing Laurie’s special request.

All of you Baton Rouge food truck fans don’t get too upset about GoYaYa’s settling down.  Venture to downtown Baton Rouge and enjoy crepes in a great atmosphere and do a little shopping while you are in Main Street Market.

We are hooked!  What a way to end our morning of shopping at the Red Stick Farmers Market.

If you are in the Baton Rouge area, stop by Main Street Market and allow Kevin to satisfy your hunger with his made to order crepes!
