Cajun French: Cuire (kū-eer) – bake
So many ways to make pizza with varied ingredients, the options are limitless. The pizza could be very healthy or a heart attack on a plate and everything in between. Our pizza du jour is made using flatbread with olive oil and lots of garlic and we build from there. The garlic is roasted in the olive oil, yes we like garlic. Have fun with the pizza; try different ingredients with different combinations. Some will be great others not to be tried again. But that is the fun of cooking especially cooking with family and friends.

Ingredients:
Olive Oil
4 pods garlic
Flatbread
Green onions
Black olives
Broccoli
Brussels sprouts
Artichoke hearts
Cheese, grated
Roast Garlic:
4 pods of garlic, peeled
½ cup olive oil, good quality
Gently cook olive oil and garlic until garlic is tender
Flatbread:
Barbari – Dallas Gourmet Bakery (or your favorite)
we use 1/2 of the bread per pizza
Build Pizza:
Preheat oven to 400
Brush both sides of bread with olive oil
Smash garlic and spread on bread, use as many as you like
Place top side of bread down, using bottom as the top
Sprinkle chopped green onions on bread
Sprinkle chopped black olives on bread
Placed chopped broccoli on bread
Place Brussels Sprouts on bread, cooked and halved
Placed artichoke hearts on bread, cut in 1/8s
Top with cheese of your choice
Bake in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes
Cut, serve and enjoy
